This week, Blaise Kavanagh is quietly presenting his second collection and showing himself to be a serious craftsman. He makes his patterns and sews the majority of his samples himself. Part of that may be out of necessity — the 26-year-old is fresh out of Pratt — but more likely it is because he is passionate about what he does.

Kavanagh, a native New Yorker scarpe Nike, seems to have his eye on the uptown lady rather than some hipster on the downtown scene. His fall collection includes A-line silk skirts in muted grays and creams scarpe Nike, sheer black blouses with ribboned necks and little black dresses with a touch of whimsical green piping.
Jen Campbell Jen CampbellThe tailoring is impeccable — thanks to his experience with men’s wear at Thom Browne — and the fabrics, mostly sourced from Italy, are soft to the touch. When asked what his collection is about, Kavanagh smiled and said simply scarpe Nike, “It’s about women.” The clothes, however, speak for themselves.
